COVID-19 is demanding a new “contactless” lifestyle. As a result, the Arts and Culture sector is experiencing colossal changes due to its sectoral characteristics that intrinsically require certain levels of human contact. Focusing on the temporal dimension, this paper sheds light on how culture and art-related policies on a national level changed after the pandemic, and examines the ongoing crisis that the sector is facing. Based on the analysis, this paper makes suggestions on how policies related to the Arts and Culture sector should change in the post COVID-19 era. Specifically, future policies must attempt to restructure the functions of arts and culture, share cultural and artistic contents through online platforms, encourage participation of the general public, strengthen the connection between the public and arts and cultural activities, link arts and culture with education, and emphasize the necessity of highlighting the social value of cultural and artistic activities.

The purpose of this study is to find out the meaning and role of rural facilitators who implement facilitation of rural field forum. For this, three facilitators who have worked for over 3 years in Gyeongbuk were interviewed along with participant observation for collection of data. The collected data was analyzed by content classification analysis. Rural facilitators are create ways of rural communities, who feel like parts of life, and who need constant capability education. Their roles are village coordinator, mediator and catalyst. This makes village residents and rural facilitators look like a wagon wheel. What changes rural villages is the passion to do and to drive human resources. It is necessary to view the affection and passion of rural facilitators without pretense. The problems and improvements that rural facilitators feel in the field are suggested.

The dictionary meaning of the room is "compartment made by blocking walls to live or work," which implies the concept of space (or place) for housing and work. It is one of the representative examples that entirely reflects the dictionary meaning of the traditional house, which divides the residential space into a love room and a master bedroom, depending on the purpose and object of utilization. However, there have been various "Room cultures" in Korea as a place for leisure consumption, ranging from rooms of taste for the arts and Gibang in the late Joseon Dynasty to modern virtual reality rooms. In a leisure study perspective, the purpose of this study was to interpret and explore the meaning of the rapidly spread and developed Room culture phenomenon starting with Singing room in the early 1990s. Furthermore, we would like to suggest a way to contribute to the good use of leisure through a review of the ideal direction of room culture.

This study examines the historical process of pointe work combined with femininity and analyzes the changing discourse surrounding male pointe work. Since the Romantic ballet, female dancers have been wearing point shoes and male dancers support them. in which ballet has distinguished and strengthened gender roles for men and women. In a situation where Pointe work became a symbol of femininity, male pointe work was used exclusively for the purpose of comic representation of gender-boundary characters en travesti. However, since the 1990s, people began to use pointe work in a more serious and reflective way as educational tools, for exploring gender/sexuality beyond the binary gender, and for expanding technical possibilities and artistic expression. The fact that pointe work, which has strengthened the gender dichotomy of ballet, is changing makes us expect that the gender/sexuality issue surrounding ballet is rapidly expanding and that pointe work will be an interesting venue for artistic and social experiments.

This study aims to build the scientific-based standards and objective basis for relative dance evaluation in dance management competitions or college entrance exams and to find the evaluation tools for dance creativity. It was confirmed that the mathematical model of fractal theory can be utilized to objectively check dance creativity. In research method two-dimensional composite image was constructed by the stromotion in Dartfish program as a motion analysis using videos taking performer’s play with practical functional capacity. The fractal index was measured using the analysis images to compared with that of standard motion video by dance expert. It was also confirmed that when the measured fractal index was the closer 1 value the performance of dance experts was similar to that of performer. Application of fractal dimension analysis to the dance creative evaluation process was suggested to take the objectiveness of dance evaluation with identification of the dance creativeness.
